Rakel Magnúsdóttir
Counsellor, Therapist and Mindfulness teacher
Rakel Magnúsdóttir has always been interested in psychology and issues related to the mental well-being of both adults and children. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from the University of Iceland in 2005, received a master's degree in gender studies from the same school in 2015 and completed a diploma on master's degree level in positive psychology from the Continuing Education University of Iceland in the spring of 2017.
Rakel has completed two levels in Trauma Resiliency Model - Level 1 and Level 2 (TRM) from The Trauma Resource Institute. TRM's aim is to help people who have suffered trauma in life.
She has also acquired a broad education related to mindfulness both in Iceland, the United States and the United Kingdom.
